James Pembroke Media has started to produce content for the consumer website of convenience chain McColl’s. The food and family content, which includes recipes from Jack Monroe and Miguel Barclay, is aimed at time-strapped consumers on a budget who are looking for quick meal solutions. The content also engages families with tips on activities to do with children and ways to boost wellbeing.
Senior editor Marianne Rawlins said: “During the pandemic, McColl’s turned to JPM when it wanted to boost online engagement. We responded by sourcing recipes from big-name chefs and creating lively, fun content for its consumer blog.”
McColl's is a leading neighbourhood retailer with over 1,500 convenience stores and newsagents across England, Scotland and Wales. It is the charity partner of Great Ormond Street Hospital.
